What should a common blood calcium even read.?

I was told mine be 2.4 and that this was low. is this severely low what would a normal horizontal reas. What should a common blood calcium even read.?
Yes that is especially low. From the number that's probably ionized Calcium they are testing you for. And that's usually above 4. If only just blood calcium that should be at least 8. You should own your parathyroid gland checked because the function for parathyroid gland is to regulate calcium distribulation in your body. Calcium too low can affect your heart rate and other function and can be hazardous.
assuming you are not a yoing growing child, 9.0–10.5 milligrams per deciliter (mg/dL). BTW, vitamin D, and estrogen levels hold a >lot< to do with Ca absorbtion.
you own to know what the standards the lab is using to give you that answer every lab is a bit different
Ok, I never utter this, but you are WAY low and need to name your physician for answers.
Normal is above 8.
