I was told mine be 2.4 and that this was low. is this severely low what would a normal horizontal reas.What should a common blood calcium even read.?

You should own your parathyroid gland checked because the function for parathyroid gland is to regulate calcium distribulation in your body. Calcium too low can affect your heart rate and other function and can be hazardous.
