The bird flu was deeply invented to scare citizens. The only general public who got it, be basically living next to their chickens. I don't believe anyone really thought it was a threat. It never become contagious from person to character. When people are alarmed, they pay more attention to the report. The news those want people to be panicky, because it sells better. It's messed up. But they upset everyone just for business. There be never any REAL threat unless it started spreading from person to party.
Its still there.
No extraordinary shifts have happen though.
So you dont hear about it as much.
But lately wait until something happen, like it spreads to europe too or numbers start noticeably increasing, it will be all over the communication again.
they just try to upset you and then you find out it won't appear or they need an extra story to fit surrounded by.
