Whats the difference between a cyst on the tonsil and cancer?

bringing me in to investigate?? will they remove my tonsils also?? smoker of 10 cigs a afternoon voice very hoarse my mouth is red unprepared!! help plzzzzzzzWhats the difference between a cyst on the tonsil and cancer?
I own a condition that I can never remember the name of but I ponder it's called hydroadonitis superlativa which funds I continually get Sebaceous Cysts which are unbelievably unpleasant and my wife keeps panic and thinking it's cancer which it isn't but a cyst on the tonsils needs to be checked speedily and for Gawd's sake STOP SMOKING if you are prone to cysts then it's possible that you'll get more and you don't want to even tempt destiny by giving them a chance to turn to anything more serious, GOOD LUCK
A tumor may be cystic, but a true cyst is merely a benign fluid chock-a-block sac.
I hope you stop smoking. Usually the first course of action is to biopsy the cyst. Treatment after that depends on the results of your biopsy. IF the cyst isn't cancerous, they might want to lately remove the cysts or the cysts and tonsils. If it's cancerous, you are definately removing everything. I'm not an oncologist, but other treatments may be necessary such a chemotherapy.
Good luck
perchance you should ask your doctor?
stop smoking first.. a cyst might be a incidental finding. horseness of voice is one of the most common symptoms of cancer of the esophagus.. please listen to the doctor..
A cyst as stated above is a fluid jam-packed sac.To prove it is cancer,u will probaly need a biopsy. If it is cancer ,treatment option can be surgury, chemo and radiation therapy. With a horse voice,I would be looking into larynx cancer. What make me think this is not cancer but irritation is the reddishness of the mouth. That doesnt fit into the typical tonsil cancer symptoms.
you cant die with a cyst but you can beside cancer
