St. Ives Apricot Scrub is an excellent, low-budget, drugstore find for any skin type. I've one-sidedly tried it and it's been recommended repeatedly within several of the fashion/beauty magazines I'm subscribed to.
A great home remedy: use sugar next to hot water. It'll thaw away with the hot hose down in superlative time for the exfoliation.
i use to use oats and honey that always did the trick
