Whats the fate to pick up STD by kissing someone?

I broke up with my bf, so I go to a dancing gathering and met a guy. we kissed on the mouth for quite a while after dance, but we didnt take past its sell-by date the clothes or have sex... in a minute Im worried about catching HIV or some disease...Whats the fate to pick up STD by kissing someone?
It is possible to contract some diseases this route. The most likely would be Herpes simplex type 1 or 2 if the other personage is infected in the mouth. It's also possible to pick up gonorrhea this instrument, although it would be unusual to do so. Years ago I worked in a microbiology lab and we have a patient next to gonorrhea of the mouth, but no where else. It seem his wife didn't allow him to perform oral sex on her. However their maid did permit him and he got gonorrhea from her. He consequently passed it on to his wife during kissing, so they both ended up beside gonorrhea of the mouth!
You're not going to catch any STD's from kissing,near the exception of herpes 1,which almost everyone gets during their lifetime
you can get a event amount of STD's from kissing. Herpes is only the most adjectives. Technically you can get HPV from kissing since it is spread through any milieu from fluid to skin cells. As far as i'm aware within are no fatal STD's that can be spread from kissing. Otherwise in that would be some sort of protection offered, like condoms near intercourse.
