What plugs can I wear during surgery?

I am about to hold surgery to have my tonsils removed, and I enjoy stretched ears, which I usually wear wood plugs, but I know that during surgury I cannot wear any jewlery, but I was wondering what types of plugs I could wear during the surgery that would be pleasing in a operating room? What plugs can I wear during surgery?
No metal. It's because of electrocautery equipment, which is an electrical device that both cuts, and seal off blood vessel. Metal jewelry causes an electrical shock threat due to conducting electricity.
Wood and plastic are ok, but not metal.
Ask the doctor. They might not allow anything.
I would assume wood would be okay though.
I think none as they might, within some way, interfere beside the procedure, like catching on the tubing or something.
