My family have a history of autoimmune disorders, back surrounded by June 2003 I had a severe throat infection which doctors thought to be strep but it wasn't I have a fever and white spots surrounded by the back of my throat and I couldn't swallow I also have abcesses in my mouth, 2 weeks then I came down beside Viral Myocarditis and was given a pacemaker to survive. I be tested for Mono(EBV) and it came rear legs positive so did my mom I am thinking I have a family connections history of autoimmune disorder the only approach you can stop your own system from attacking you is getting rid of your spleen? does anyone know??What kindly of doctor do I travel see to find my Spleen Removed?
You haven't mentioned any auto-immune diseases in your quiz. Only viral and bacterial diseases. The fact that you are prone to these diseases suggests a unconvincing immune system, which is the opposite of an auto-immune condition.
Please see a doctor to obtain your health fully evaluated. He can explain the pathway of autoimmune diseases, viral, and bacterial diseases, and how you need your spleen, and hopefully sermon you out of pursuing this.
Okay, first I do have to utter... Where did you get information that mono be an autoimmune disease? It is a viral infection. Mono causes hallucination, sore throat and other symptoms like strep. Mono is VERY contagious, so you probably any gave it to her or vice versa.
Now, removing your spleen will not bring rid of autoimmune diseases. The only entry it helps surrounded by is if you have sickle-cell disease. Taking out the spleen stops the destruction of some blood cell, causing you to be smaller amount anemic. The spleen takes out the HgbS (sickle celled rbcs) allowing anemia to become severe.
