I had chronic illustrious blood pressure but my doctor put me on a combination of lisinopril (which dually does bp and protects kidneys from damage - ace inhibitor), norvasc and zocor. Since self on them, along with more exercise - my bp is down to mundane - I had lofty cholesterol too due to some kidney damage, etc. Consult your physician!!
